We are a fun loving adventurous family company that started out with curiosity around what to do with the large amount of rhubarb we grow in our gardens. We stumbled upon a rhubarb pink lemonade recipe, and I’ve been enjoying it for years. We expanded that recipe to include our homegrown blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, and juju‘s fresh pink lemonade in four flavors was born!
Our Small company is comprised of Brendan and Allie, and our two children Faye and Bo. With plenty of help from Mem (Michele), Grampy (Bill), and uncle Billy, we decided to start the company and be purveyors of fun and delicious lemonades and popsicles.
Brendan is from San Diego and Allie is the local! After living the beach life in Huntington Beach for 15 years together, along with having our second child we decided to live the New England Seacoast life moving to what used to be Meadow Pond Farms in Hampton, now known as Ice House Lane. What we didn’t know was our backyard was plentiful with rhubard, strawberries, raspberries, and tons of blueberry bushes.
We started small harvesting and making lemonade for fun. Next we tested our luck with curbside stands, stickers and ball caps, to teach our children the value of fun hard work, financial responsibility; and of course to help them earn their own money to buy their own toys.
With growing popularity and demand from local families and friends, our brand is growing! Who knew adults love our lemonades just as much as the kiddos. Some fans have told me they created a popular new adult beverage called the “JuJu con Tito”!
We currently sell lemonade by the cup and various sizes of jars; and personally deliver orders locally in Hampton and the Seacoast.
We hope to build the business in the coming months and years to attend farmer’s markets, public events, and even start to professionally bottle and can our lemonades. Hopefully you may see us around town at one of our stands, or even our lemonades in local shops one day!
